Hi,
Typically, USB 3 ports are physically designated by the blue port insert/divider and by a ss symbol by the port in question. However, on my new HP laptop the ports are black.
The two USB ports in the front are USB 2.
Download SIV64. It will tell you which ports are USB 2 or USB 3.
