Hi @Gerhardeugen,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Thanks for sharing the details! If your numeric keypad (numpad) on the HP All-in-One keyboard (P/N N51134_DB1) isn't working, it's likely just turned off accidentally (which can happen with one key press). Here's how to get it working again.

Steps to Re-enable the Numeric Keypad on Windows 11:

1. Press the Num Lock key

  • On your keyboard, look for a key labeled Num Lock (sometimes just NumLk).
  • Press it once.
→ This toggles the numeric keypad on or off.
  • Test the numpad right after pressing it.

2. Check if Num Lock is Enabled on Startup

  • Press Windows + R, type: regedit, and press Enter.
  • Go to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Keyboard
  • Double-click on InitialKeyboardIndicators.
  • Set the value to 2.
  • Click OK and restart your computer. → This ensures Num Lock is enabled by default when Windows starts.

3. Use On-Screen Keyboard to Verify

  • Press Windows + R, type: osk, and press Enter.
  • The On-Screen Keyboard will open.
  • If Num Lock is not enabled, click the "Options" key > check "Turn on numeric keypad" > then toggle Num Lock on.

4. Make Sure Mouse Keys Are Off (Important)

  • Go to Settings > Accessibility > Mouse.
  • Make sure “Control your mouse with a keypad” is turned OFF. → If enabled, this can disable number keys on the numpad.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
