I want to add at least 2 terabytes of memory to my computer but I'm not sure If it's compatible with the SSD I want to buy. I bought samsung PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD. It turns out I can't install it yet because there wasn't any space for it.
Now I'm going to buy this adapter so I will be able to mount inside it the NVMe M.2 SSD disk but I don't know if it's gonna be compatible with the SATA cable and the computer. I want to put the M.2 SSD in the adapter and then connect the adapter to the SATA cables.
Can I even do that? Is it going to work properly?

When you do not identify your desktop or laptop PC, you tie our hands behind our backs. Help us to help you.
When logged into Windows, hold down the Windows key and tap the R key once.
That will open the Windows run dialogue
Type in msinfo32 and press enter.
The ninth line is the SKU and the HP product number. Kindly post it in your next reply in your thread.
The System SKU/Product ID will enable us to determine the hardware configuration of your notebook or desktop PC.
