OMEN by HP 25L Gaming Desktop PC GT15-0000a (4Q9S4AV)

I am using an ATEM mini to stream video from multiple cameras.  There seems to be a known issue with the ATEM mini and certain USB chipsets.  I have tried plugging it into a couple different USB ports, but still have a video glitch.

Is there a layout diagram that tells me what chipsets are used for what USB ports?

Thank you

The chipset on the motherboard is AMD B550

The USB ports on your PC:

  • 4) USB 2.0 Type-A ports

  • (1) USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port (5 Gbps signaling rate)

  • (1) USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port (10 Gbps signaling rate)

Unfortunately there are no Thunderbolt capable ports.

The max resolution  for streaming to the ports on your PC is 1080p, so if you are streaming higher rez, that is probably the issue you are facing.

Since your PC has only one PCIe slot you may have to look into upgrading to one that gives you more input options and upgraded USB ports

Had you looked at the PC recommendations for streaming?

The input to my switcher is 1080 and the output of the switcher is 1080, controlled at the switcher.  However, there were posts on forums that say there is a conflict between the blackmagic obs signal and the chipset for the USB ports.

I wanted to know if there were different chipsets used for the different USB ports on my computer and if there was a map or diagram that said which was which.

I have an open usb-c port on the back of the computer I thing... I may try and USBC to USBC cable and see if that resolves it.

USB ports are integrated parts of the chipset on your Omen PC motherboard. It is dependent on the processor that is used.

Do a search for the installed Intel Core processor and see what the family name is called. That will be the name of the chipset. Once you have that, search with the name of the processor family + block diagram.

Using numbers without context isn't  a plausible way to discuss signaling in electronic circuitry.

Do you have any knowledge of electronic devices at a granular level? As an example, the components on a motherboard, the voltages, current and switching signals that make them work.

Check the specifications  of the switcher to ensure that  the USB type-C connection is an output before making a connection to a PC.
