I want to delete them all and start over.

I have over 20 HP PCs of various models.

MOST no longer have a Hard Drive in them, so the HP Utility that scans PCs will not help me.

That is, unless there is a PORTABLE VERSION on a Thumb Drive.

I am willing to enter the Model and Serial Numbers manually, with one known exception.

One of the refurbished HP PCs I purchased off the Internet has all the Tags removed.

Without installing a Drive with an O/S on it, is there a location anywhere on the Frame where I could find the info?

Best regards,

Hi @Mike-Lynch,

Thank you for confirming that! 😊

Here are the steps to remove or delete the unwanted PCs from each platform:

HP Support Account (online):

Go to HP Customer Support – My Devices.

Sign in with your HP account.

You’ll see a list of your registered devices.

Click on the device you want to remove → select “Remove device” or “Unregister”.

HP Smart App:

Open the HP Smart app on your computer or phone.

Click on your printer or PC name.

Select “Remove Printer” or “Forget Device” from the menu.

Confirm removal.

HP Support Assistant:

Open HP Support Assistant.

On the My devices tab, click the three dots (⋮) next to the PC name.

Select “Remove device” or “Delete”.

Restart the app if needed to refresh the list.

I hope this helps.

How would that help me delete unwanted / no longer owned PC's?

Hi @Mike-Lynch,

Thank you for getting back to us.

I understand that you’re looking to remove the unwanted or no-longer-owned PCs from your list.

Could you please let us know where exactly you’re trying to delete these devices from, for example, is it from your HP Support account / HP Smart app / HP Support Assistant?

Once we know the platform, we can guide you with the correct steps to clean up your device list.

Looking forward to your reply so we can get this sorted.

Best regards,
