@armaan5,

Welcome to our HP community forum!

Do you have the HP ProDesk 400 G4 SFF or MT?

Kind Regards,

@armaan5,

The HP ProDesk 400 G4 SFF was one of my HP legacy upgrade projects.  Trust me, I looked, but there are no power supply upgrades available for this desktop, due to its unique dimensions and proprietary design.

That doesn't mean that there aren't any solutions, as you'll see in my upgrade link: you'll have to use a "PSU Adapter ATX 24Pin To SATA 15Pin" adapter, which means that you can hook up a synced external ATX power supply, whilst keeping your stock 180-watt PSU in place: HP ProDesk 400 G4 SFF Performance Results - UserBenchmark.

Hope this was helpful.

I'm still confused on what to do. Could you write out at tutuorial?

@armaan5,

I assume you asked for a power supply upgrade because you want to install a graphics card which requires a larger capacity power supply?  If so, what graphics card (only a smaller-sized low profile graphics card would fit in your case) and/or budget do you have in mind?  Mind you, if your budget allows it, you can hook up any GPU to your PC you want, but it will have to be parked outside your desktop, just like the secondary synced ATX power supply.

Point is, what is it you are trying to create?

Kind Regards,
