HP SSD S650 2.5" 240GB

The aforementioned SSD stopped working abruptly and disconnects frequently regardless of what it's connected to (I've tried utilizing it via SATA on the motherboard and a few different SATA to USB adapters).

 

I purchased the drive on 7/20/22 and on the product info sticker it claims to have a 3 year warranty. Unfortunately, when I try to get support for it, the 15 digit serial number is evidently invalid, so I'm unable to get support for this. I have created an HP account, tried the HP Warranty Check, I have called HP at both [a phone number] and [another phone number], tried to create a support ticket via chat, and I also tried to create a ticket under my printer that is on my HP support account so that I could speak to an agent, who, coincidentally, was unable to assist me.

 

How do I use this 3 year warranty, or is this falsely advertised on product?

Nope, I gave up trying since it was only a $20 drive. My advice is to avoid buying HP components.
