HP Slim Desktop - S01-pF1036
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Can't get the front panel off or find the secondary release to give me access to the RAM memory slots underneath.

also, can't find any manuals for the unit.  Available?  Future?  Ever?  Or is this new unit obsoleted already?!

That looks like it should do it, though I'm disappointed in the verbiage ....  I'll reply again if I'm successful, but I think it answers most of the problems I've run into.

Thank you very much!

... also wish there had been a way to get the manual without posting it as a question here...

SUCCESS!  Only two 'issues'... the manual's diagram points to a "1" and "2" (buttons?) which don't exist on the unit I have, but after removing the optical drive, the chassis came up without any problems, so now I can access the RAM slots.  Got another 8 GB arriving in a few days.
Then I noticed mounting holes for both a 5.25" drive and a 2.5" drive into the cage and added a hard drive.  We'll see how that works when I spin up the unit in a few days.

ONLY real problem was that the smaller of the two CD Drive ATA connectors was a Real Bear to remove!  And that was necessary to do before the cage could be opened.  Finally wrestled it out with no apparent damage.

REALLY, again, appreciate the help!  Thanks, again.
