Welcome to our HP Community forum!
The HP All-in-One 24-g227c has two (2) RAM slots and supports DDR4 SODIMM memory (laptop-style RAM).
Key RAM Specs:
- Total Slots: 2
- Max Supported RAM: 16GB (2 x 8GB DDR4-2133 or DDR4-2400)
- Factory Configuration: Usually comes with one 8GB stick or two 4GB sticks
If Transferring RAM to Another PC:
- Ensure the new PC also uses DDR4 SODIMM RAM (some desktops use full-sized DIMMs (UDIMM), which are incompatible).
- If the new PC requires desktop-sized DIMMs, you cannot use this RAM.
Would you like help identifying compatible RAM for the new PC?
Kind Regards,
NonSequitur777
