Welcome to our HP Community forum!
Determining the age of your HP keyboard depends on a few factors:
Methods to Identify Age:
Check the Serial Number:
- Many HP keyboards have a serial number on the back or underneath. The serial number may include a date code or manufacturing year.
- You can look up the serial number on HP’s support website or contact HP support for details.
Model Number and Release Date:
- Search for the model number online. If you find the release date of the keyboard, you can estimate its age.
Purchase Date:
- If you bought it new, check your purchase receipt or order history.
Windows Device Manager (if it's connected to a PC):
- Go to Device Manager > Keyboards, right-click your keyboard, select Properties > Details, and check the "First Install Date."
Physical Signs:
- Wear and tear on keys, discoloration, or design changes can hint at age.
Would you like help locating the serial number or checking a specific model?
Kind Regards,
