The best way to describe this is to just tell you many people are complaining of this . Support fixed it but then tried to push me to buy the monthly service for them to remove it. Very pushy. i would not buy it. I should not have to it is a brand new unit. I did not need the Pakistani hard sell. It almost feels like they sell the computer to then sell you the service to fix their computer that is broken.
i tried the Wiindows Regedit fix. No avail. Now I am thinking it is an on board virus.

So after talking to HP online support they made some changes and then pushed me toward their monthly service where they insisted it was a virus and after mating them money it would be fixed. Virus software will not fix this they said. They were wrong. I did virus protection scans make ware scans. I did the ResEdit changes to the typing delay features as well as other setting changes all recommended fed by HP group boards. I did searches for types and names of viruses that cause this and could not find any. I even bought a program that said it was a need to fix a windows software update and that I should pay money to update drivers for the keyboards and other drivers. I paid that money.
finally I deleted the drivers and restarted my computer with the usb for my wireless keyboard and mouse pulled out. Then I put it into a different USB slot. That fixed it for me. Good luck to anyone that is having this. Big time waster and I felt HP should have known this solution and should have helped me without trying to scam me to buy a service from them.
