HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop 690-0024
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I updated my RAM from 8GB to 16GB and when I am playing games the screen goes black. If I switch to my old RAM the issue is resolved. I believe the the problem may be that the voltage on the RAM is not enough. Does anyone know how I can access the voltage in the BIOS and fix it?

It is more likely that the RAM is not compatible. What make and type did you install?

I installed a Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz C16

Crucial also sells DDR4 3200 RAM for your system (here)  so I doubt it is the wrong type. However your system has a Ryzen CPU I believe and Ryzen CPUs are touchy about RAM. I have a Ryzen 7 2700X and could not use G. Skill RAM and had to swap it out for Corsair. Having said that I had a Ryzen 5 2600X and could not use Corsair and had to swap it for G. Skill. The only other possibility is that your system specs are for DDR4 2600 so 3200 RAM would run at 2600 which may cause a problem. That would be a BIOS limitation. You can check for a BIOS update for your system.

Also this forum page may help.

I already updated the BIOS and the problem still persists. What I am left to think is that it is the RAM itself.
