I want to get about 100 GB of memory off my computer, so I bought a flash drive with a capacity of 128 GB. However, unlike my old Vista HP Pavilion that just broke down a couple of weeks ago, this computer does not appear to have an opening on the front for a flash drive. There is a place for a Memory Stick but it is not large enough or shaped properly. I should mention that I bought this computer almost 3 years ago when my Vista began giving me trouble, but it rallied and only finally crashed fatally 2 weeks ago. So, I finally opened this Pavilion P7 1423W computer (still sealed in its box) and began setting it up.
Is there no place on this computer which will accept a flash drive?

Hi,
Your computer has 2 USB 3.0 ports at the front as mentioned on the following specs:
http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03517270
Your flash drive (USB stick) should fit to any one of two USB ports.
Regards.

Thank you. I did not see the ports, but since you and the specs said they were there, I went exploring, and found that a portion of the front pushed down....and there were the ports! It is incredible to me that so little information came with my computer!!
