I have taken the side panel off & I need to get into the are the RAM is located. There is a black metal bridge spanning the width of the case, it has 4 screws holding it in place as far as I can see. mounted under the bridge is the Hard Drive & the Optical Drive. With the screws out I have also removed 3 more that were screwed into the silver metal piece that also has plastic pieces in a couple of places holding the front panel in.  I can move the bridge back about 1 inch as the front of the optical drive is now recessed the same distance. Do you have to remove the front panel of the PC to get that bridge to move back farther. I need to get at the M-2 socket in the area of the Ram & also need to remove the HD.

Hi,

Take a look at the document linked below, after removing the 4 screws and sliding the dvd drive out the front. The whole hard drive cage should flip up and give access to RAM and M2 slots.

Hope it helps,

David

This would be a great link if I could get it to open each time.  Right away I had the problem, IE told me I needed to update Adobe Flash Player 31 Active X which I did.  I have tried FF & Opera also.  I get the Index on the left & I get the written information but just cant get the video to come up anymore.  To me the videos I did see are excellent for fixing anything.  I could reset my cookies but taht is usually a pain with all the lost liks & passwords.  After that I did get it to open a few times but since then I haven't.  I looked a several videos & this would be a great help if I could get it to work all the time as I have to change a HD to a new SSD.  Can you send me the location where you found this & maybe try sending the link again also.   Thanks for your help

Thanks, that did it with Chrome but I had to install it for Firefox also to get it to work with it even though it would work with Chrome, go figure.  .Now it will play on all 4 of the browsers I have.    Thanks again.
