Hello all,
I am looking to add some 2.5" Internal SSDs to my HP OMEN 880-130. Product number: 2HJ47AA#ABA
I have been reading the forums and some people point to this link: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05535552
However, as you can see this does not describe how to add 2.5 in the front bays (page 4 steps 5-6).
Are there any sort of adapters/brackets or things that I can attach specific to that drive tray of this Omen PC which is meant for 3.5" so that I can add the smaller 2.5 drives? I am aware of brackets that we can buy online, the issue is that the connectors are fixed for these two drive bays. so generally a bracket won't allow the 2.5 SSD to sit far out enough to enter the fixed connectors of the PC that sit at the bottom of the bay.
Thanks!

Hi,
Funny enough, after posting this I found the perfect adapter caddy tray. I just got it yesterday and tested it today. Works perfectly!

@ad843 , welcome to the Community.
I had a HP 880-160se with the same setup. I tried every type of adapter to make a SSD work in the front drive bays with absolutely no success. I finally found a good place inside of the case and added a SSD. Since they are so lite, it is easy to install them using velcro or other types of connectors.
