I am presently working from home using my personal PC. My employer has provided me with a second screen but unable to use it as it seems that my PC does not have a video outlet. I have brought an USB/HMDI adapter but the second monitor still does not work. Any suggestions please.

@Sonia3S Welcome to HP Community!
I understand that you would like to connect the external monitor.
I have checked the specification of your product.
There is no video out port on your product.
Have you tried with different adapter?
Try updating the computer, this will install the latest updates -
Step 1 Windows Updates -
1) In the search box, type, and open Windows Updates.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
Step 2 Install updates using HP Support Assistant
- In the search box, type, and open HP Support Assistant.
- Check for updates.
- If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
Note: If you do not have HP Support Assistant installed, Click here to download the same.
