I have an HP Envy TE02 desktop (just purchased) it came with a 2TB drive and I want to add another internal HDD drive - but I can't find any info on how to do this or if possible with this model. Other pcs normally have a cage for adding another hard drive and a SATA/power cable. I can't seem to locate where I can install the HDD drive and if there is another SATA cable to use - tried HP Support and they told me to call the shopping number - lol - I asked for a manual and was sent to hp.support - lol again.

however, you have models with HDD

For additional help additional info is needed. The HP Envy TE02 desktop is a model line. There are many different models in the HP Envy TE02 desktop line. To find out more info about you specific model, go here
Allow HP to detect the product info and clicking on the Let HP detect your product and it will then direct you to the support site for that model.

Thanks. So I assume that the additional m.2 ssd slot can handle a 2TB ssd as from - from the post/picture it was hard to figure out where it goes, but they succeeded so I will follow along with that.
I was looking to add a bigger (cheaper) HDD drive to bring over "stuff" (aka year of pictures...) from the old computer to this and also use it for Windows backups. It sounds like I may need to change my strategy, and possible add 2TB SSD to copy over current used photos and add a USB external drive for backups...

Thanks, I have the - HP ENVY Desktop PC TE02-0000i - when I go to search for "Replace upgrade hardware" it keeps showing a laptop model info. I was chatting with support and they told me to go to shop.hp and shop.hp told me to go to support so I may just assume no 2nd HDD SATA option as there are no bays/cages and change my strategy to adding more "space" and deal with possibly slower usb speeds for older info.

Sorry, I couldn't recommend what I haven't tested.
You should also check if it doesn't take up too much space, it might not fit..
Just in case, see if this hasn't already been requested in the community
