Solved: How to add another HDD internal drive to HP Z1 G9 TWR - HP Support Community

I just bought the model Z1 G9 TWR and I want to add in my tower a 3.5 Inch Internal Hard Disk Drive as a backup drive.

Do I need a special Mounting Kit?

As I can see I just need some special screws.

What type of screws do I have to buy and where from?

Could I find them in Greece?

I installed several HDDs or even SSDs, in all cases, the screws were the same!
for the most part, they were delivered with
So in my humble opinion, if hp doesn't specify anything, it shouldn't be a problem

the computer already has an hdd disk?
So just look what is in place!

and check this if need cable or other part necessary for the installation if not included!

see here, there are several options to buy, so it's probably possible
it may be necessary to buy a sata data cable!
check if a sata power cable is also present!

normally with all the documents here it should be quite simple
screws for an HDD, often come with the drive, and most of the time this will be standard

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately I have already read this maintenance pdf and I didn't find anywhere the answer to my question. On page 33 can anyone see the drive with the appropriate screws but nowhere is written about what kind of screws are they! It is so disappointing for Hp..
