I know nothing about computers. I have a HP Pavilion 23 that I would like to use an Apple wireless keyboard with. I have it and a wired keyboard in my possession, but I don’t know where the wired one plugs in, or how to connect the Apple wireless keyboard. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you

To be able to help I need to know (a) What is the model/product of your machine and (b) what is the model/product of your Apple wireless keyboard ?

Regards.

I think Apple keyboard is : https://support.apple.com/kb/sp734?locale=en_US  . It uses Bluetooth to connect.

And your machine is:  https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c03538788 which DOE NOT support Bluetooth.

You can not connect them naturally. You need a Bluetooth adapter for your computer,

        Example:  https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/targus-bluetooth-4-0-usb-adaptor-taacb75au

to connect them.
