HP Pavilion 590-P0076
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I installed 32G (2x16) of RAM but 1.1GB is in "Hardware reserved" section. How can I disable it?

I already have a discrete graphics card installed and also disabled the onboard/integrated graphics card in Device Manager.

I tried to set the discrete card as primary, but after setting it and went back to BIOS again, it's not set anymore. The setting doesn't seem to stick.

I also confirmed under "msconfig > Boot > Advanced options > Max memory is unchecked.

But none of that helped to release the reserved RAM.

Hello
there are only a few possibilities, and with a system like the one you have, you won't be able to change that.
In addition, with 32 gb installed it would change absolutely nothing to recover a few MB!
The system needs a certain amount of memory to function and, it is not modifiable.
