Strange issue as my new computer always seems to go to sleep mode once the "monitor" goes to sleep.  This happens even as I clearly select "Never" for sleep mode for computer.  I did go to  Run/Powercfg.cpl and did make sure Hard drive was sent to "never" sleep and any other option I could check selected "never".   I have also used the Microsoft power tools called Awake, and selected computer to "keep awake indeffinitely".   Still the problem of the computer going to Sleep mode remains as if just ignores all these commands.

The reason this is a problem is that once the computer goes to sleep , the fans automatically shut off to zero RPM (confirmed via HWmonitor).   This has potential to cause overheating as I leave my computer programs on overnight and I found that the programs are still running even in sleep mode while the fans are not running, but should be as the computer case itself felt very warm on top by the morning.

I have tried to configure Bios / Fans / Enable always on/  ,   but I cant believe I do not have this choice on this HP 89B5 mother board.   I have also updated to latest Bios version and updated all drivers and completed  every windows update.

I am hoping someone might have a very clever way to enable me to somehow either keep the fans to always be on, or to make sure I can just find another way to avoid the computer even going to sleep mode, other than the methods I described that have already been done and did not work.

Thanks in advance.
