HP Elite Mini 800 G9 Desktop PC IDS Base Model

Hello!
I am trying to install  a Thunderbolt 3 V3 FlexIO card in a Elite Mini 800 G9 computer. After installing the card, I get the following error message at post:
"TbtNvmDrvHrCtor: PCI device  is not found!, status=Not Found"
"Failed to create a device context for the host."

The computer keeps rebooting with this message.
I have removed the card and updated BIOS from 02.11.01 to 02.12.02, but that didn't make any difference. As soon as the card is reinstalled in the computer the problem returns. I have tried two different adapters. Same issue.
Please advice.

On the page for that device, it states:

Compatibility
HP Elite Mini 800 G9 Desktop PC; HP Elite Mini 600 G9 Desktop PC; HP Pro Mini 260 G9 Desktop PC; HP Pro Mini 400 G9 Desktop PC
That might have something to do with the problem.

I'm not an HP employee.

It is a HP Elite Mini 800 G9 Desktop. G8 was a typo. Original post is now corrected.

Hi, do you have a solution ?    I have a Mini 600 g9 and exact the same failure.

The Thunderbolt card is now working for me.
I've done two things, so unfortunately I can't say which one led to success.

1. press and hold the power button for at least 15 seconds.
2. press F3 several times before the error message appears.
