I have a new Z4 G4 workstation with the i9 CPU motherboard layout. I have been unable to find documentation of the motherboard layout or how to install a NVMe m.2 SSD card in the computer. Tech support had no information either to this workstation. If I cannot get the M.2 SSD installed then I will be shipping back the computer as the performance will not be what we need.
No idea why HP is not providing adequate documentation for a business class computer as this was not a problem in the past. They neglect to provide intormation for installing even a 2.5" form factor SSD.
I already ran into a problem with installing additional DDR4 memory modules as the Z4 G4 has a fan housing that limits the height of the modules to less than 1.5 inches so that has been a trial and error process as the height of the module is not provided by resellers or manufacturers.

Hi:
I can't find any information in the service manual either, but I did look at the quickspecs, and maybe the illustration on page 2 will be helpful to you if you zoom the picture.

It shows the location of the M.2 slot for the Intel i9 models labeled as #6 in the right hand illustration.
