I have problem with my brand new HP Pavilion Wireless Keyboard and mouse 800.
I'm unable to turn off the default Fn key.
Please help me with that very IMPORTANT ISSUE.

@d33play I hope you know that not all keyboards have an option to use the timeout feature by design, that's only available on limited devices, that said, here's all you need to know about using the backlight of your keyboard:
Toggle backlight settings:
If your notebook computer has a backlit keyboard, press the F5 or F4 (some models) key on the keyboard to turn the light on or off. It might be necessary to press the fn (function) key at the same time.
If the backlight icon is not on the F5 key, look for the backlit keyboard key on the row of function keys.
FOR DETAILS & FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS, USE THIS LINK: CLICK HERE - applies to both keyboard and laptop keypad.
(By the end of this article all the issues should be resolved)

@Riddle_Decipher: Did you even read the original question?
The question is about how to toggle the FN-Key permanently so that F1...F12 are the default usage and not the multimedia commands.
And it refers to the HP Pavilion Wireless Keyboard 800.
I did not find a way to solve this, but I expect to have a solution or I have to return the keyboard I bought yesterday. It is not usable the way it is.
Maybe Logitech has something more useful ...
