On most HP laptops, including models like your HP Envy 17.3" or Spectre x360, the camera shutter is a physical switch or slider located near the webcam itself—not a keyboard key.
🔍 Here's how to find and use it:
- Look at the top bezel of your screen, near the webcam.
- You should see a small switch or slider—often marked with a camera icon or a red/white dot.
- Slide it open to uncover the camera lens. When closed, it physically blocks the camera for privacy.
If your camera still doesn’t work after opening the shutter, make sure it’s enabled in Device Manager or the Camera app in Windows.
