Hi,

 

I recently acquired an HP Omen 870-224 and added Corsair Vengeance RGB pro 16gb DDR4 ram, with XMP to it. The Omen command center does not allow me to overclock memory or CPU, also it does not have a memory controller in the bios.

HP does not support XMP on consumer motherboards.

Is there a third-party software that I can download to do it? Why would they sell gaming PCs that can't overclock?

Hi, 

 

Sorry.

 

XMP requires BIOS support.

 

HP does not include memory or CPU overclocking BIOS support.
