I am considering replacing the HD with an SSD.
First problem I have is how to remove the CD drive which sits on top of the HD.
I can slide it out an inch or so but no further.
Does anyone know any instructions for this or preferably a video.
Thanks very much.

Click on Optical Drive.
Pull out and push up the latch on the side then pull out the front.

Thanks REO51ST.
Although the text should help, the heading says Service Procedure Videos but I can't see any links to videos.
I was pulling the drive inwards 'cos I couldn't budge it outwards.
I'll try again.

@ REO51ST I did click on the link and then realised it needed Flash which I have removed from my PC.
I think I'll temporarily reinstall it.
Thanks again.
EDIT: Installed Flash and the video was very helpful.
