HP Pavilion HPE h8-1220 Desktop PC
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I'm replacing the wireless antennae and need to remove the top bezel to access the antenna installation area.

Please advise as to the cover removal. This desktop has 2 CD drives.

With the both side and front bezels removed, use you whole hand on the top and one o the side to rock the cover backwards.

Sometimes the covers have a "latch mechanism.

Do you see those open bits in the cover image of the video?

Those are the latches that hold it in.

There will be bits on the top cover that fit into them and lock the piece in..

Here is an antenna  replacement video for the model series. You will have to remove the front bezel and the top optical disk to gain access to the top bezel.

I've reviewed this video many times. It does not explain how to remove the top bezel cover. Took out the cd drives. I've tried to force it off - no joy on that,
