I am trying to remove the front USB port, SD card reader port, and power switch modules from my HP e9000 desktop but can not figure out how the USB module releases from the front of the cabinet. My recollection is that they come out in order left to right, first USB, then SD card reader, and lastly the power switch module.
The power went out today in the house. When it came back on the desktop would not restart. The power switch doesn't initiate the boot up. The power supply in back has a green light showing when plugged in. I've replaced that within the last 5 yrs so I suspect it may be the switch. Any advice on the disassembly of the front modules, OR ideas about diagnosing the start problem would be greatly appreciated.
