Hello again,
Hope someone can direct me a tiny bit. I'm upgrading my video card to a GTX 1050 ti lp. This is my first time really assembling anything in a computer, but I figure most things out alright. The card came with a low profile bracket. I've removed the bracket that it came with, and noticed that the low profile bracket is still the width of two whole brackets. I feel that there must be a way to remove them. Is it by removing the motherboard?
Reading this manual a bit, but haven't found the answer yet.
(How sound is this kind of advice?)

Hi,
Your machine has full height, full length slots and I think your low profile card is similar to the following image
The card needs 2 slots physically therefor after removing the low profile bracket you have to screw a full length back to be able to unstall properly. Do they supply a full length bracket in the box ?
Regards.

Hello. Thank you for replying to my post...
So, to better illustrate my dillema in an image:

This is the full size bracket that came with the card (before I removed it and attached the low-profile card). It requires me to remove two brackets. The low-profile card is of the exact same width, as well. It's just shorter in height.

Hi,
The card will fit perfectly but you need something to keep it stable that why we need bracket. You will connect monitor or monitors to it and who knows the card may move. Which ever way, you ned to "anchor" the card to the chassis.
Regards.
