HP Recommended

My Elite PC Model 800 G2 will not power up.

I suspect the power supply has failed.

Is there a method to test the power supply while out of and disconnected from the PC mainframe ?

i.e., which P2 pins to short together to power up and which of the pins on the other cables/connectors to measure voltage ?

There are a number of PSU test units you can buy for under $20 -- this is an example of one:

I have not used this particular model, so I don't know how well it works.
