I want to unmount and remove the CD-ROM drive from the HP Compaq 8200 Elite MT desktop computer, I only managed to unscrew two screws, but trying to remove it only a little I managed to move it to the left, I tried with all my strength to push it in and out but without any effect, I read the instructions on how to do it, but it's hard to deduce anything from it, can someone give me step by step what to do?

Hi:
No tools are required to remove the drive.
Remove the side panel of the PC (the one with the lever handle).
You have to remove the front bezel of the PC.
After you remove the power and data cables from the DVD drive, lift up on the green release catch on the side of the drive bay and slide the drive forward and out from the front.
See the manual, chapter 7, pages 141 - 142.

I have two 8200 Elite CMT's and it is easy as pie to remove all of the components.
One of the first things I did was to remove the DVD drive and install a Blue Ray drive in its place.
Took less than two minutes.
