Some humor first. Depends on the model of HP 590. Your a tad vague. What is the exact model number ?
History: The HP 590 is a series of computers originating early 2018. There are several models. The Lincs boards are I5 & I7 Intel, the Sunflower boards are AMD Ryzen 3 or 5. The basic PSU a 180W, while some variations have the 310W (based on a GPU like the GTX 1050 75W), if that GPU did not need a PCIe 6 pin power plug.
NEED: Sometimes that becomes a "desire". That is a premise where you tell me what you want to do. Suggest an intense game. Then I make a valid suggestion.
PRICE for GPU and PSU: In a basic case about $350. In an extreme case, MSFS 2020 will cost about $1000 in upgrades.
PSU note: HP utilizes a proprietary designed PSU. Here is a spreadsheet. While your 590 is not listed, when you do decide on upgrades, I will update the listing to document the changes.
