Hi, I need help to upgrade my hp Z620 Ram.
Actually I have 4 x 4GB PC-3 14900E With single cpu Xeon E5 2620
My workstation have 4 free ram slot
My questions are:
1) How mutch Ram Can I Install?
2) I found 2 x 8GB PC3-14900E, can I buy it and direcly insert in two of my 4 Free slots or I must instal only 4GB like the 4 that I have already in my Workstation?
3) Is good for my workstation the 14900R ram?

The document below details the supported Z620 memory types (P12 &13) and optimum memory module configurations (P17 & 18).

Please note that your current E5-2620 CPU only supports 1333MHz memory speed. If you have the v1 motherboard, (2011 boot block date), then consider upgrading the CPU to a model that supports 1600MHz RAM. If you have the v2 motherboard, (2013 boot block date), then consider upgrading to a Xeon v2 CPU that supports 1866MHz RAM. A list of supported CPU's and their supported RAM speed are listed in the quickspecs document.
Your current 14900E RAM modules are 1866MHz. You can not mix RAM types (i.e, 14900E and 14900R) but you can install RAM modules of different capacity, e.g. 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, 32GB (LRDIMM)
