@Squidmaster,

Welcome to our HP community forum!

According to the specs, your HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-2170m CTO (3V2Z3AV) is fitted with an Erica6 motherboard (SSID: 8906) and either a 310-watt or 400-watt power supply, please verify and indicate what you have, because it will depend on your power supply (which can be upgraded of course) what graphics cards you would be able to power in your desktop.

Also, it depends on what your budget is.

The best compatible processor for your PC would be the Ryzen 7 5700G (8-Cores, 16-Threads, 3.80 GHz up to 4.60 GHz) :

Shop around: you can purchase one of these starting around $150 via an eBay Seller, such as this purchase option.
