I cant find to update to the latest bios and i cant change anything i wanna change my ram speed but i cant find it in hp 82f2 motherboard and if ur talking about updating bios i tried its showing only 2020 updates only

Your PC's motherboard can only run the memory at a maximum speed of 2400 MHz because it only supports the Intel 7th generation core processors.

 

No BIOS update or anything else will change that.

But its only running at 1200 mhz

If you have two matching memory chips running in dual channel mode, you have to multiply the 1200 MHz by 2.

 

2400 is the speed when the memory runs in dual channel mode.

 

With one memory chip the memory runs at 1200 MHz (single channel mode).

 

If you install this free utility (I use the portable version), the summary report will tell you what mode your PC's memory is running in -- single or dual channel.
