I have a HP Elite 7300 i7 and want to put a Nvidia Geforce GT 610 PCIE 16 in this machine. Can anyone tell me whether this will be compatible?

It is a low profile card, single width, and only 29W max power. Manufactured in May 2012, it should present no problem with the BIOS level, provided you have Legacy BIOS. Check for "Boot Environment" as BIOS.

Thank you for the reply.
The Geforce graphics is actually working.
I added 2 cards at the same time - the Geforce GT 610 card and a gigabit network card. I could not imagine it would be the networking card, but that stopped the post / boot.
