@DWright57,

There are none -but PSU upgrading is easily achieved through syncing a secondary ATX power supply.

Please take a look at my most recent HP desktop upgrade project:  Upgrading HP EliteDesk 800 G4 SFF - HP Support Community - 8523990.

As a matter of fact, I just acquired an i7-9700KF and just ordered an HP EliteDesk 800 G5 SFF motherboard (same fit as the 800 G4 SFF) to upgrade the aforementioned desktop, which, btw, was originally an HP EliteDesk 800 G3 SFF: Solved: Upgrading HP EliteDesk 800 G3 SFF - HP Support Community - 8251218.

@DWright57,

Upgrading an HP EliteDesk 800 G5 SFF is most certainly possible and doable.  Just upgraded my HP EliteDesk 800 G4 SFF (by swapping out the motherboard and fitted an i7-9700KF processor) to an HP EliteDesk 800 G5 SFF: Upgrading HP EliteDesk 800 G5 SFF - HP Support Community - 8545942.

The reliable and secure way to add more power for your -any- desktop's power needs (primarily to power a high-end graphics card) is by syncing a secondary ATX power supply as explained in my link.

That's dope you can just switch chassis like that. So what you're saying is I would need to use 2 power supply? 1 for mother board and 1 gfx card
