Hp Omen 25L GT14 - 0107nf processor upgrade HanaL to Ryzen 7 5700x (solved)

Hello, (I am not seeking help with this message, however I am writing to provide knowledge)

This informational message is meant for anyone trying to fix the HP Omen G14-0107nf low performance issue, as I was. This also applies to any HP Omen Gaming PC equipped with the HanaL motherboard. There is a solution and it involves upgrading to a Ryzen 7 5700x even though on the official support page, the CPU is not mentioned.

The motherboard concerned is the following :

As you can see, the page does not state that the Ryzen 7 5700x is a possible upgrade. Instead, it mentions the 5700g. I decided to try anyway since my previous and original CPU (the Ryzen 5 5600g) gave me horrible performance. I mean, really horrible. I was having as many FPS on my games as I had on a 10 years old PC equipped with a 970 GTX. The only other option I could come up with was to change both the motherboard and the CPU and I didn't want to go that far money wise and effort wise. So, I tried this solution and... it worked.

I did search far and wide on the internet for any solution or even viable information on this topic to help me fix this low performance issue and couldn't find anything. Now that I have tried and tested the upgrade to a Ryzen 7 5700x I can inform anyone trying to fix their low performance issue on these Omen models that you will gain an incredible boost in performance by doing this upgrade. As an example my computer went from 90-120 FPS on CS2 to 280-310 FPS.

So here it is, I hope this post can help someone.
