I recently added more memory to my Omen and have notice some unusual issues with games running a bit sluggish at times. I've ran numerous memory tests all of which come back good with no issues. I haven't tried pulling the different memory out to see how it functions with each, that would be my next step, unless someone has a different recommendation?
I've confirmed everything is updated as far as hardware and software goes.
Here's my specs..
Operating system
Windows 11 Home 64-bit Version: 22621.1105
Microprocessor
AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-Core Processor
System memory
64 GB
Memory slot 1
16GB Kingston 3200MHz
Memory slot 2
16GB Kingston 2400MHz
Memory slot 3
16GB Kingston 3200MHz
Memory slot 4
16GB Kingston 2400MHz
System board
8876 11
System BIOS
F.14

So I don't only use the computer for gaming. I'm also using it for my virtualization lab environment which is why i added the additional memory. I did notice the same sluggish performance before adding the memory in some applications and games. I'll be pulling out the original sticks to see if the new ones show any difference performance wise or if i see the same issues.

hi
First of all, can you clarify, if precisely no problem before the upgrade?
Then, what is the exact model of the computer?
links of the games in question?
Namely, that memory is not everything, 64gb or 128gb, is not necessarily useful, for many games
I play with 16 gb, and no problem with my compatible games, with my configuration
Then, if you had no problem, we see that you have a module difference, although I have a computer that works perfectly in this case
it could be a problem with your configuration..
