Bought this system for cheap looking for a better cpu replacing motherboard any suggestions

It would be easier to purchase a case that would work with the new motherboard.
1) The product key is embedded in the existing motherboard NRAM. Hard drive is linked to it.
2) The hard drive's WIN 10 OS will not activate with a different motherboard.
3) HP motherboard standoff;s usually do not match a different board.
4) Rear I/O shield will not matchup.

So you bought an HP 500-424 just for the case? Because the CPU on that board can not be changed.
