I just bought a wireless adapter for my HP p6-2422el and I placed It in PCIe x1 slot 2.
However It seems like It Is not detected, device manager doesn't show It and I cannot install the driver from the CD because It says there's no card mounted on my PC at all...
My card has a mini led which turns green when I turn on my PC and It gets warm after some time.
At this point I guess the problem Is due to the BIOS old firmware... I guess.
What can I do to fix my problem?
Shoul I try the other lane?
To be clear, my PC never had an internal adapter (Just a usb Stick).
Thanks for help
