HP Pavilion - 15-cs0051wm

Hello, I have a Hp pavilion 15-cs0xxx and recently got the message to replace battery a couple of times and charging issues so i did.

A month after getting new battery the charging port light keeps blinking white even with laptop turned off. Laptop does charge but only when switched on and then plugged in

I also got message saying 'CMOS Checksum is invalid'.

Please help.

Did you replace the battery with  a battery that has one of the HP part numbers listed below?

4-cell 68 Whr         HP P/N L32654-005

3-cell, 41 Whr         HP P/N L11119-855

Did you replace the battery yourself or have it done at a laptop shop?

A Checksum invalid  error message means that the BIOS is corrupt.  You should either try recovering the BIOS or updating the BIOS from a file on a USB flash drive. You will need a USB flash drive of at least 8 GB.

The compatible BIOS file is at the hyperlink below.
