I have an old hp compaq 6000 pro sff serial no. CZC0323778 which I need to upgrade Hdd from 500GB to 6TB but the HDD is no recognized by the PC. What should I do? What is the limit of Hdd can the PC take?

The limit would be 2 TB because your PC does not have a UEFI BIOS.

Only PCs that have a UEFI BIOS can support a HDD in excess of 2 TB.
