Product: Hp compaq dc7900
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Dear People,

 

I have an old hp compaq dc7900 standing in my house, but it's running a bit slow. So my question is: can I upgrade the pc with an old i5 or i7 is this compatable?

Hi:

 

No intel core processors will work in that model.

 

Here is the link to the dc7900 quickspecs.  The supported processors can be found on pages 9 & 10.
