Pavillion h8-1020
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

A few more details,

It currently has an upgraded 500w power supply, 16gigs of ram, and radeon r9 200 series graphics card.

here is the added challenge, I cant get into the bios for the life of me. Mash escape all startup like you just wasted a bunch of money. I am trying to source out a ps2 keyboard to see if my bios just doesnt like this usb keyboard.

I am aware that it could be possible that a bios update might solve the problem but i havent had any luck finding a bios update.

any help would be amazing.

@Ausernamenottak,

You will need to answer the following questions.

1) Boot environment, is it BIOS (Legacy) or is it UEFI.....  test program

2) The original GPU was the HD 6570 (Legacy) circa 2011

3) You added a UEFI GPU card, the R9 200 series (unspecified) initial circa 2013

The only HP BIOS is for WIN 7 (that was the original OS)

7.16 Rev. A2.9 MBFeb 6, 2012

That can not be upgraded to the newer UEFI.
