Greetings @Javier58

Welcome back to the Forum.

Are you using DDU? You don't have to. You can do the display driver modification in Windows sans safe mode using Control Panel>Program and Features.

Disconnect the PC from the network to stop a WU AMD graphics driver reinstallation when not using safe mode.

I do use DDU but it is not necessary in most situations. I would use DDU in your instance since you are going from AMD to Nvidia.

I've never seen safe mode behavior similar to what you are experiencing. I can enter safe mode without problems using the WinRE.

Is safe mode asking for a BitLocker recovery key?

Disable BitLocker in Control Panel>Device Encryption. I don't use BitLocker.

Try safe mode again.

So every time I go into safe mode what happens is when I go into it is that it says something happened with your pin and your pin isn’t available and it tells me to setup my pin again but everytime i press it, it just does nothing that’s my issue I’m having so far in safe mode and yes I’m trying to use DDU

Greetings @Javier58

Thanks for the additional info.

Are you signing into Windows using a local account or a Microsoft account?

I only use local accounts so I don't know if using a Microsoft account would cause a safe mode sign in problem.

I don't have to sign into Windows safe mode on my PCs.

Did you set up a pin? If yes, can you normally sign into Windows using the pin?

Maybe you need safe mode with networking to authenticate a Microsoft account sign in.

Try going back to a password. Then see if you can run safe mode.

Convert your normal sign in to a local account if you are using a Microsoft account. Try Windows safe mode again..

Regards
