HP Z620

Hello,

I'm wanting to upgrade my hp z620's gpu and need to use the second 6 pin connector. However to my dismay this connector is a lot shorter than the other one whilst from what I've gathered these are supposed to be the same length. I assume something went wrong with the cable management in this system so I wanted to remove the right side panel, but I can't seem to figure out how.

Just like the z820 and z600 this hp has 2 screws at the bottom holding it in place. After removing it I am supposed to slide it down, but it's stuck. I cannot seem to get it to slide down and as far as I know hp does not have any support documents on this.

If anyone can help me with this I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi Wolfehy,

Please try the following link to the HP Self Repair Media Library. Simply select your product from the drop down lists then select the Remove/Replace videos link at the bottom of the screen. Look for 'Right side panel' on the left to view the instructions and video.
