I have moved to Hong Kong and am missing the power cord for my HP Envy TE01-1020.  I vaguely remember choosing the option for a better power supply unit. Model 400w CDT20 EPA20. I have tried using a c13 cord purchased locally, 13a-250v. It does not work on my unit, but it does on another family member's HP desktop though. I'd like to know what specs does my cord  need?

Hi @Kyuen88

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

It seems like your HP Envy TE01-1020 with the upgraded 400W CDT20 EPA20 power supply might require a specific type of power cord.

While the C13 cord you tried is standard, it’s possible that your power supply unit needs a cord with different specifications or compatibility.

Here are some steps to help you find the right power cord:

Check the Power Supply Requirements:

Look for the exact specifications of the 400W CDT20 EPA20 power supply in your desktop's documentation or on the HP support page.

This will indicate the type of cord required.

Ensure the cord matches the voltage and amperage requirements of your power supply. For example, it may need to support a specific wattage or have a particular plug type.

Consider Regional Compatibility: Since you’ve moved to Hong Kong, make sure the cord is compatible with the local power outlets and voltage standards.

Says switching power supply model: PA-3401-2HA input: 100-240v-5A 50-60Hz

But nothing useful regarding the actual cord pops up when searching these. Plenty of the actual PSUs for sale but no cord.
