I am currently running 8gb of ram and it looks like I can upgrade to 32gb, but I do not know what type/model memory card I need.
I have an HP Envy desktop - 795-0030qd.
Windows 10, 64 bit OS, serial# [personal info removed], model# 4AB22AV
Memory slots: 4 DDR4 UDIMMs
Thank you

Hi:
HP indicates the max memory is 4 x 8 GB:
The Crucial memory report indicates that you can install up to 64 GB of memory in your PC.
HP - Compaq ENVY 795-0030qd CTO | Memory RAM & SSD Upgrades | Crucial.com
This should be a compatible 8 GB memory chip for your PC:
Crucial 8GB DDR4-2666 UDIMM | CT8G4DFRA266 | Crucial.com
Below is the link to the service teardown video:
You can do this to see how much memory your PC can support:
1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator.
This will open the command prompt.
2. Once command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and hit enter.
There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.
The capacity is shown as Kilobytes, so you have to convert it to Gigabytes by dividing the number provided in the report by 1,048,576.
